Accessibility statement
How BaxPay makes its websites and apps usable by everyone, how far we are, and how to tell us when something doesn’t work for you.
Please read carefully.
These documents describe how BAXPAY SARL operates BaxPay during open beta. They are written for transparency and GDPR accountability. They are not personal legal advice and are not a substitute for counsel-approved contracts. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement between you and BaxPay, the signed agreement prevails for that relationship. For questions: [email protected] (privacy) or [email protected] (general).

1. Our commitment
BaxPay is committed to making its services accessible under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) as applied in France. Our reference is the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA (RGAA 4.1 in France).
2. What this statement covers
BaxPay POS payment terminals will be assessed separately.
- baxpay.com
- app.baxpay.com — the personal web app
- business.baxpay.com — BaxPay Business
- The BaxPay and BaxPay Business apps for iOS and Android
3. Compliance status
Partially compliant.
This statement is based on an automated audit (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) of the public web pages and a code review of the signed-in web pages and the mobile apps, carried out on 29 October 2026. A full manual audit has not been done yet; we will update this statement after it.
4. What works today
- The sign-in, registration and password pages pass the automated WCAG A and AA checks.
- Text contrast is at least 4.5:1, and small controls have a touch area of at least 24 × 24 px.
- Pages declare their language, and the sign-in pages have a main landmark.
- Each signed-in page has its own title.
- Icon buttons in the web and mobile apps have a text label for screen readers.
- The sign-in presentation has a pause button and stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Strong customer authentication combines your payment PIN with either an approval in the BaxPay app or an authenticator code, so it doesn’t rely on a single ability.
5. Known issues
- The sign-in, registration and password pages share one page title.
- Signed-in pages and the mobile apps haven’t been tested yet by people who use screen readers or other assistive technologies.
- A full manual audit against EN 301 549 has not been carried out yet.
6. Tell us about a problem
If you can’t use part of BaxPay, or need information in another format, write to [email protected]. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do and the device you use. We’ll reply and help you get it done another way in the meantime.
7. If you aren’t satisfied
In France, if our answer doesn’t satisfy you, you can contact the Défenseur des droits online (defenseurdesdroits.fr), by post (Défenseur des droits, Libre réponse 71120, 75342 Paris CEDEX 07) or through a local delegate.
